When the Kids are Away

I had a couple of hours to myself yesterday morning, so I spent them the way any normal mom would.  Driving around aimlessly, overindulging on junk food, singing at the top of my lungs, and stopping at random stores to buy crap I don’t need.

As a stay at home mom, this is the cheapest form of therapy I can find.

  1. yanno, all ya’ll kinda scare me when you Moms hit this stage. we should have a special time at the mall where you could gather and run free once again.

  2. Had a day off motherhood yesterday. Cleaned my closet and I slept. I got so much sleep and watched so much crap on TV. I didn’t know what to do with my time. Next time I know what I do. Go out, get tipsy, buy stuff for myself and eat lots and list of junk food

  3. “Singing at the top of my lungs”… yep that’s what we mummies do when there’s no kids for an hour or two! Loved this and we should allow ourselves some more of this sort of therapy.
